COMMENTS: Mixing children and ceramics may shorten the lifespan of the ceramics, but it will tend to broaden kids' appreciation for art and aesthetics. For some reason the kids were really drawn to this Tri-rise Series piece, so much so that they played with it until they broke it...twice (broke the glued piece after the first fracture). I was also fond of it, so much so that the remnants are still (after a year or so) sitting outside wating for the final hammer, after which I will add its shards to the rocks and other deceased ceramics under the North fence where runoff from rain is trying to wash the soil away from the fence's footings.
